Alana, Jessie's Mom let me know of your accident. You have been in my prayers and thoughts everyday since. I am so glad to have found this web site so that I could let you know how much my family is praying for your recovery and to be able to see how many others are thinking of you and wishing you well. To see how loved you are makes my heart less troubled and I know you will make a full recovery. I hope your birthday is a happy one and you get to share it with those you love and who love you so much. Coach G.

On behalf of Alana, and my son and daughter in law, I wish to thank all of the staff of KWCH for the outpouring of love and attention that they have given, not just to Alana, but to her family members that have been in Wichita during this last week since her accident. As her grandfather I was moved and pleased to meet so many of you, and I am proud of Alana for surrounding herself with such warm and loving friends. May God bless each and everyone that have so warmly expressed that love to her and to us. And I pray that Alana will be returning to Wichita soon to continue that wonderful relationship. Thank you, Louis Rocha, her grandfather.

Oh sweet Alana, how I wish you were celebrating your Birthday in a different way, but I can't wait to see how you'll be celebrating it next year. You hold so much love for life, personality, wit, intelligence, compassion, drive, and beauty inside and out, and I hope that you can feel the endless amounts of love and prayers everyone across the world-literally-is sending your way. You've touched so many people just by being the classy, wonderful person you are, and now all of us get to return a bit of that in prayer for you. You are in my thoughts every moment of the day. There isn't a person more deserving of a quick healing than you, and I know God has big plans for you. You've been blessed with one of the most loving, close-knit families I've ever met, a wonderful gift during a time of need! I love you so much my dear friend, stay strong and fighting like you've been since the first day I met you at our tiny Simpson dorm Thank you so much to the doctors, staff, Mr. and Mrs. Rocha, other family members, Benito, Jessie, and everyone else who's been taking care of our dear girl! Love you very much, Amy

Happy Birthday tomrrow, Alana!
You're looking better everyday!
Can't wait for you to get back to the newsroom so you can talk trash to me about how good your Gators are (and how mediocre my Tigers are).

Hey Alana, I hope you get better soon. I live in Hays and you're the closest thing this town has to a celebrity. I work at Wal-Mart and whenever my friends or I would help you, we'd make a big deal about it all day long because we got to help that girl on TV. Good luck in your recovery!!!!

We were so sorry to hear of your accident. You are such a good reporter and I've said several times that you are the best Channel 12 has had in a long time. You're a beautiful person. We are praying for your full recovery.
