my husband and i traveled from wichita to greensburg yesterday to help some friends of our retrieve what little salvageable items they could. i got this picture of their son, nicholas sears, sitting in front of what used to be their house. i thought it was very touching to see the innocence of this 2nd grader...enjoying a book (the far side) and laughing at the comics.
