These photos were taken by my friend, Nora, in the west Chicago suburb of Maywood on February 1, 2008. The residents of Maywood are shoveling out from under 8-10 inches of fresh snow... so far their biggest snowfall this winter. Tomorrow is Ground Hog's Day, and Chicagoans are wondering what the rest of the season will bring.
