A wet, heavy snow began quietly falling about 4:00pm February 23, 2008 in the Salina, Kansas area. Could this be the last gasp of winter for the season in our area? Right now at 7:44am on February 24th the outside temperature is 32 degrees. The high temperature for today is suppose to be near 55 degree mark.
